Curtis Wright's remarks to the Pender County Republican Party Lincoln / Reagan Dinner on March 27, 2009

Good evening. 

I want to thank your chairman, your executive committee, and all of you here tonight for allowing me this opportunity to talk, on what I believe to be the most important challenge facing our nation: “how to return our nation, and the republican party, to its conservative values”.

I am sincerely honored that you would invite me here for such an important gathering.

In wrestling with what to say here tonight, and pondering the situation in which our nation finds itself, I came to a decision that it would best to start with me sharing some personal history…some American history, for it is from whence we have come, that we as “Americans”, as “Conservatives”, as “Republicans”, will find our way.
